Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest entrants need only have returned a completed response card or submitted an online response with their name and ZIP code.
   
   
2. Eligibility: OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS AGED 18 and up. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Employees and Directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of LGFCU and any of their affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and Web site providers/Webmasters and Web affiliates are not eligible.
   
   
3. To Enter: One entry per person will be considered for the award of prize. In the event of multiple entries, only initial entry will be considered. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. All entries must be logged online by 5:30 p.m. or postmarked by November 30, 2008. As an alternative to completing the online survey, entries will also be accepted from those who submit a standard index card with their name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address (if applicable) and return via USPS to LGFCU – Attn: C. Pearce 323 W. Jones St., Suite 600 Raleigh, NC 27603.
   
   
4. Drawing: Winners will be randomly selected by LGFCU. Ten winners will be identified no later than December 5, 2008 and will be sent a gift card valued at $50 by December 15, 2008. If prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
   
   
5. Prizes: There will be 10 winners of a gift card valued at $50 (USD).
   
   
6. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud or other problems, LGFCU may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the contest to address the impairment and then resume the contest in a manner that best conforms to these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of impairment. LGFCU reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be in violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, LGFCU reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. LGFCU’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
   
   
7. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless LGFCU, each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of LGFCU’s respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the contest; (b) printing errors; (c) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (d) errors in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries; or (e) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the contest, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages.
   
   
8. Use of Sweepstakes Information: LGFCU reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including information obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
   
   
9. Winner: For the name of winners by mail, handprint your name and complete address on a 3x5 inch card stating your request, and mail to: LGFCU Gift Card Giveaway Winners, 323 West Jones Street, Suite 600, Raleigh, NC 27603.
